Yes, they do try hard and most people don't have an issue. But apparently some do.Their less than adequate preformance speaks for its self. When I order something from the net, 98% of the time is issue free,as it should be. If there is a problem for what ever reason it's handled correctly the first time without time consuming hassles or excuses. Then there's Monarch! Can't say the same for them. It appears I'm not the only one who has fallen through the cracks as I'm sure there will be many more.

It appears they try hard to cover their a$$ by discrediting people with legitimate complaints.
Why are you yelling at me? Where do you get off insinuating anything about anyone? Is this YOUR opinion,or maybe you work for them? It seems to me that it is the responsibility of the customer service department to deal professionally with ALL customers, not just the ones with pleasurable attitudes!

NOT ONCE HAVE THEY FAILED TO SOLVE A PROBLEM. THEY WILL BEND OVER BACKWARDS TO SATISFY YOU. ANYONE NOT SATISFIED HAS PROBABLY BEEN TOO AGRESSIVE OR BELLIGERENT WITH MONARCH'S CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I don't quite seem to see the problem. I even took the initiative to help you fix this problem, and I questioned them and they told me that they refunded you all the money, including shipping.

i think ballast is going ballistic...

i dont know the entire situation, as i dont know who works for them, who did this or that, but i do know one thing:
Ballast is slowly losing all credibility by being very defensive and yelling at Ultimate Members. He WAS trying to help you, and now you are attacking him... doesn't look to good on your part...

i guess some people can never be happy

All I did was e-mailed them this thread, stating that you had a problem with them. And they told me what I stated above, no personal information was released to me. I was trying to help you out, but since this is becoming a moot point, there's nothing left for me to do since your anger has covered all sanity to you.

I appreciate the fact that you were trying to help, however I don't think it was your place to take it upon youreself to meddle in my personal business with Monarch and I seriously question why they would respond to you. By the way, just to clarify, they did not refund the shipping, only the cost of the motherboard.

As stated above, if you were to have read it, Monarch Computers was questioning my review. As far as I'm concerned what's done is done. They could have handled the entire situation more amicably, but they chose not to. I have recouped my money for the motherboard and that's the bottom line. I just want to spare others from embarking down the long road of frustration that I had to endure.

I wonder how this poll would do three years later?

At the rate their ratings are dropping,it will be a miracle if they're still in business three years from now.All companies have occasional bad periods, but for the last year,Monarch has been in a steady slide down. And now I see this note on their ratings here.
" 9/27/2006: We have detected and removed 37 fabricated "Very Satisfied" reviews for this store which were submitted between 9/8 and 9/23. The party responsible for submitting those reviews is unknown. This note will disappear after 30 days."

As far as I'm concerned, this calls all of Monarch's ratings into question.I certainly won't risk my hard earned cash on them.Too many complaints of late deliveries, failure to refund money, and miserably poor support, and now this.

QUOTE"Too many complaints of late deliveries, failure to refund money, and miserably poor support.."

I've had to deal with them,in 2004,when I first bought my SFF,the experience was so unappaling that I delayed as much as I could, until again this month when my PS failed.
When an order is being "placed",the customer gets an "estimate" ref. number, and whenever Monarch deems it proper, the company e-mails with a REAL invoice number(weeks later) when it is ready to be shipped!!
By that time, your state of the art pc is already old.
What do they do during this time nobody knows (maybe day-trading with the order's money??lol)
From my experience with them,it is clear that they are all smiles, taking pricey orders like full sustems and the rest, yet, once the order is taken, they need about a full month's "testing" (!) before you see anything delivered.
If you need any replacement or "upgrade" parts, not only the part will be either out of stock or "special order",requiring another monthly wait, but you'll be lucky to get it at all, since per their comment, they would rather furnish the new orders first with this component and your order will be filled in due time......
They spend a lot of money aggressively advertising to gamers ,yet they really can't meet a "usual timely order fullfillment".

Thankfully there are other SFF components providers now..
