I want to thank you for all the great information you have been posting.

I also have a huge problem with Monarch. I RMAed my computer back to them in the begining of November, the hard drive had crashed after over a year of ownership. I never had a problem with Monarch, anytime something went wrong, they would send someone over, or if I had sent it back they had it back to me in 2 weeks.

But this time.... Well, you know all to well what is going on with them. The reason I am writting you is that I am also going to try and get my computer back. My girlfriend is from Atlanta and has a cousin who is a Police Officer there. She is trying to get him to go to Monarch's store location and see if anyone is there and also if they have the computer.

If we could exchange contact info in order to show that there is more than one person with a complaint it may help. I tried to Pm you but you have that turned off.

Agian thank you for all the information you have posted, and for keeping everyone up to date with what is going on.

Seems that Monarch has hastily redesigned their page. Now all they have are two links to Refurbished systems, and Parts. And any mention of their phone number is gone. Seems they want no one calling them to get information.

Tell me this does not sound like the sinking of a company into oblivion. They are still trying to milk money out of people without giving them a way to contact them.

I do find it interesting that GA400 has disappeared as fast as Monarch is. What's up GA400, how will you explain this new redesign.

I am going to try to email the tech that handled my case to see what is going on or if he can even tell me. I will give you the info if I get anything out of it.

Yep, looks like they feel like they have stolen enough money from people so they can have themselves a good Christmas on all that stolen money. All they show now are some crap refurb systems and the link to their forums is now gone off their store page!

Check out the message for their forums when you use a bookmark like this one. Here's the message posted at the forums link: This board is closed at the moment.

If any of you can dispute charges with a credit card, you better do it today.

The fact that even now they're still taking orders is disgusting.They're like a pickpocket on the Titanic,still trying to lift peoples wallets as the ship goes down.At this point,they should be facing more than bankruptcy,they should be facing criminal charges of theft and fraud.

Yeah I ordered a comp on Oct.13... its Dec.13 and for the last three weeks I was told it would ship by friday of each of those weeks. Now when I call I get "Sorry, We are closed" answering Machine. wish I knew all this Before i ordered from them, then all the bad stuff i hear about trying to cancel a order, I waited 2 whole months now, may as well sit and wait another, least then I wont be pissed over waiting a month to not get all my money back!!

VRoman, they also have my computer that I sent to them back in September. I feel your pain.
I'm interested what you hear about there being any lights on at Monarch. I know someone is there.

On Nov 9th I purchased a Media Center A Series system. Shipping time was promised as 20 business days max. In hindsight I should have been suspicious that a stanard rig was not ready to ship. On Dec 7th I sent an email and tried to call. Their answering machine said they were closed and I got no response to my email. I have tried to call every working day since and sent another email yesterday. Monday I spent an hour on hold and yesterday I was "lucky enough" to catch them when they weren't closed and spent over two hours on hold with no answer. After an hour on hold, I called on another phone, and while still on hold on the first phone, listened to their answering machine say they were closed. LOL. An hour later they were "open" again and for 15 minutes I listened to their propaganda in stereo. I finally gave up after over two hours. Their answering machine said they were closed all day today. I have filed a dispute with PayPal.
