This page has a couple of good things you might do Link.

The BBB is not a powerful Gov agency like people think, but it is good that you have gone thru them. The BBB is more of an arbitration organization, not an enforcement agency. By using them though it shows courts that you have tried a few things to get your stuff dealt with which can help plus the BBB will document what has happened and what Monarch may be doing.

The FTC is one that I would go thru as well as the Attorney General's office. Things will only happen if they receive numerous complaints so it might be in our best interests if people collaborate on this.

BUT heres the question:

Is there anywhere else that you can buy a custom built computer and have better service?

Dell is bad gateway is worse and HP is mediocre in Reseller Ratings

So when it comes time for the memorial service on the Monarch Furia, (No Burial as it was lost). Where do I find a replacement?

Polywell? Hardly enough here at reseller to go on.....
Anyone else?
I've narrowed my search for a builder down to these four:
Envision Computer Service http://www.ecspc.biz/ Rating 10
KC Computers http://www.kc-computers.com/ Rating 10
Directron http://www.directron.com/ Rating 8.66
Alpha PC http://www.abestpc.com No rating on RR,but good ratings on Yahoo, they're a local compay here in PA.

All of these offer far better prices than big name builders like Alienware,Falcon, ect.KC and Directron require some knowledge of components, since they don't have a configurator page, you pick the parts you want from their entire inventory.Directron does have pre-built systems, however.Envision and Alpha PC do have configurator pages, but if there's something you want not listed you can contact them easily for a quote.

Check out AVADIRECT perfect score on ResellerRatings. I checked out their website and they give you a lot of options to customize a pc. Their prices are also reasonable.

also see a review from [H] Consumer who bought a system from them and gave them a perfect 10 for tech support.

http://consumer.hardocp.com/article....xoY29uc3VtZXI=

I will give them a try for my next Pc which will be soon.

Chupacabra21: Thanks for the info. Quick and easy to file with FTC.
Thanks everyone for the ideas on the replacement.
WHAT? KC has almost a ten on customer service? And it's just one guys name being praised time and again. WOW! Hope that guy get his Christmas bonus early!
Customer Service is gonna be my number one factor for the next purchase.

I too have filed with the FTC. I wanted to know where you filed your small claims suit. I have thought about filing for my shipping and warranty costs plus damages, but do not like the thought of filing in GA.

I have thought about filing a federal fraud motion, because of Intrastate commerce fraud, but do not know if there is enough chance of getting anything out of it considering you can't even order from them at this point.

It's just that the damn system will probably never be seen again.

AND HERES A BIGGIE:
As of now they are no longer accepting system orders.
The configurator says to check back in January 2007

Hmmm Severely limited parts for sale, repairs backed up and now not taking orders AND NO ONE ANSWERING THE RMA PHONES.

Wonder if anyones working and when they last saw a paycheck?

I think we are gonna see something soon.
It gets better. Now when you try to click on a system configurator, it comes up "item cannot be found" error. Sounds like the beginning of the end. Flush out our inventory and re-emerge months later as a new entity after the bankruptcy proceedings.

Yeah, when they stop taking orders at the height of the Christmas shopping season, you know somethings up.As much as they love taking peoples money, doing this must mean they're about to pull the plug. And the Hitachi suit shows they've had alternate websites. You can bet I'll be checking out any new computer vendors that pop up in the future very carefully before I buy, especially the names of the people running them.

PHONE SYSTEM Says they are closed and gives business hours...BUT I'm calling during business hours.

Well the general mailbox is full so now you can't even phone to enquire about the hostaged systems they are holding. Figure thats the last swirl on the big flush

Hey David and Matt were you paid to lie about repairing my system? Did you ever really really think It was gonna happen when you talked to me on the phone? I figure you are sleeping soundly knowing all the customers you led on with the false promises and personal touches you conveyed.

I really really hope that one day the tables are turned on you.

Small Claims In Missouri is filed at the Local Courthouse. They charge the File server fee to DeKalb County Sheriffs Department (25.00) and Their Fee($20)
Which is included in the award judgement. I just want System Price and Shipping plus the Court Costs back. Hey! If I have to file a lein on judgement I'll take somebody's Porsche! LOL

A post from Kyle Bennett ([H]ardOCP founder) on the [H] forums:

I was told today that Monarch was on the verge of bankruptcy. I have heard this from two industry insiders. It is still an unconfirmed rumor and I would treat it as such, but you better get your business done with them quickly if you have something outstanding.
