FWIWAIMHO, they don't do much of ANYTHING lately except SCRUB their forums for anything they don't like, it would seem. All complaints fall on "deaf ears." It seems it's time for attorneys to step in to force answers (consumers, credit cards, suppliers, etc) as to what is really going on there...

I had attempted to post this to the Monarch messageboard, but before I could even review it, the post was deleted. I had always been a rather nice and cordial poster there, so I was a bit shocked when it was deleted. So, I found this thread, and will paste it here instead:

----------------------------------------------------

I managed to talk to some sources in the company over the past few days. Most of the rumors can be confirmed on hearsay - the company ownership is changing, the financial books have not finished transferring yet, the focus of the company is being reduced to systems creation, and the options available to create a system are expected to be pruned back - though you will still always be able to call and ask for all configuration options.

Repairs and system builds should continue, but further delays should be expected. The good news is that system construction facilities should be improving when they get back to full working order.

Again - all this information is still hearsay on a messageboard, taken from an imperfect person talking to imperfect employees, but I believe it is as honest an assessment as I can share with my limited amount of verified information.

Heh, I just looked over at their forums and they have deleted whole forums from view now. They got rid of the forums that they got the most complaint threads in.

What a bunch of jerks!

How typical of them,do they really think that will help? They can't control this forum, censoring their own won't stop the bad publicity. If they had just been open and honest in this whole thing, they might have had a chance, but it's obvious they are not to be trusted.Even if they go the systems only route, who's going to buy anything off them? And if they are changing ownership,I'd hardly have any faith in new owners,if they're investing all that money and are on the up and up,why haven't they stepped in and stopped all this nonsense, told the present owners"Hey,if you want the deal to go through, clear up this mess with your customers first,or no sale!" It's amazing anyone would even want to invest their money in this disaster of a business, between the lawsuits, bad ratings, throngs of dissatisfied customers, and an inventory that seems to shrunk to almost nothing,it seems a bad bet to me.

Friday Dec, 01 @ 2:00 PM I called them and got the "we are currently closed" recording. They have a 24hr service dept and the reply I got there was another recording "Sorry, the call can not be competed"

I'm thoroughly amazed that people are still buying from these clowns.
Just look at the latest group of disgruntled customers!

In case you missed it: Before it's to late...
It goes without saying that anybody who has ordered from them, and is in the endless loop, to at least get a hold of their credit card company and Georgia's Attorney General:

You are right, Ballast, a bunch of CLOWNS!!!! Their new web site is TigerMonarch.crap......

This company and many like them exist because customers do not "trouble shoot" before they buy. As many of 70 to 80% of these problems can be avoided if buyers do their home work.

This thread has been a source of much amazing crazy thinking, thanks for the laughs. And to all of you with the sense to do things right, I have been very happy to talk with you and make things right.
