SVC messes up three times in one order

No wonder why these guys are so cheap. I have ordered from them 8 or 9 times in the past and up to this point they have never made a mistake on their part. Today I received my latest order only to find they made a total of three mistakes. Two of the fans they sent did not have LEDs, even though I specifically ordered them with LEDs. In addition, the PSU cover I bought was advertised as "UV Reactive," yet in reality, it does not glow at all one bit. Pictures speak a million words:

Take note of the UV Fan w/ LEDs and the UV sensitive PSU cover.

Funny isn't it? No LEDs on this fan.

Green UV reactive PSU cover on

Funny how it doesn't light up

I have e-mailed SVC about this, but according to the other reviews I've read here, I shouldn't expect a response for another month or so. Now my briefcase mod project has been delayed even further. Until SVC resolves this issue, I am very dissatisfied.

Moral of the story: Stick with newegg

I ordered something about 6 months ago from them and I never got what I ordered. Doubt I will try again any time soon.

i am dissatisfied with a heatsink/fan that i ordered from them.

i have to use my finger to get it to start spinning.

so i sent it back and they sent me a note saying that the heatsink/fan worked.

put it back on my cpu and lo and behold i have to use my finger to get it spinning.

i too will stick with newegg.com from now on.

Try www.case-mod.com. , www.2cooltek.com , or www.1coolpc.com. None of these 3 companies has let me down.

I agree with chris:

When I've e-mailed Case-mod in the past, I'd always get a response from the owner w/in 24 hrs. The other two are good as well - never a problem. www.CoolerGuys.com have also been good, and have had some good e-mail specials.

Have ordered from SVC 4 - 5 times. They botched one order but made it right after 2-3 e-mails. Those prices are awfully tempting sometimes.

Everyone here loves Newegg - I do too, but not for small items like cables and fans, where you get raped on shipping for these small items, even if you place an order for several items - that's my only gripe w/Newegg.
