Camcorder Advice wanted

Hello all,
I have recently become highly interested in purchasing a camcorder, but honestly dont know anything about them.
I am looking for one that excels in extremely low light, has very good still capability, clear pictures, all the computer connectivity stuff, and all the usual bla bla bla stuff.
Basically I'm looking for the best low light/night recording camcorder that works good for video editing. under $900. I would prefer one not too large.
Please let me know if you all have any ideas. Thanks.

I have a canon zr45mc palm size and about 400$ it does everthing you need. I never use any thing on the camcorder like digital effects because the pc is the place to do that. extra batter for 5 hr record is 30 to 80 depending if you want canon or knockoff. I really like it. virtualy no motor noise. I use pinnicle 8 to edit and burn svcd's.
