on 30jun/03 i entered netlink computer inc with a list of parts to purchase
invoice# 1245829 P $2,182.35
Henry Ho took my order between phone calls
HH was rude(not apoligetic for waiting on other people, i couldn't understand why the customers had their sales rep taking care of them so nicely)
I wasn't taking up his time - just needed to fill an order that I worked on for over week.
HH was making faces at me( i asked for price matching and he said he didn't have to do it - i wished i was somewhere else but promised my wife i would get the parts for a system on this day and start assembly)
item in question Cosair Twinx512-3200LL PC3200 2x256 DDR 2-3-2 silver Heat spreader $248
this item was priced $229.99 at TigerDirect.ca 800 800 8300
HH said so what ( i said i saw on their forums section of their website where a day ago a customer received a credit of $20 for upgrading to an Enermax power supply) he gave me $15 - pls understand this day and those that follow are not bad days due to just money, but rather the service or lack of.
*they forgot to take out the original NoName power suppy and I returned it to them*
HH had difficulty with Canada Day Special pricing - ie low priced NGEAR promo items pens, 48cd cases...etc
I noticed the price he was inputing was greater than advertised, and when I advised him of their advertised price he ignored me. I had to repeat my self more than once and always had to say must be their Canada Day special... These were .49cents pens & $3cd cases; certainly not a money issue but i felt like i was being squezzed for every cent. I also noticed while waiting for him on another phone call they had same NGEAR cd cases 96 capacity for same price, but i didn't want to bother him, as it was i was apologizing to him as he was so busy, and he made me feel like i was in the way
my wife was shocked that i gave her a price before going out and she said what happened...I went back and changed the monitor from $322 to the $233 that I was supposed to get.
i was told to wait while they checked it out, i waited about 45mins(this was done standing 2feet away & the total time in & out was an hour and a half)
i was told Gary would look after me
i was asked over and over if i was being looked after
Gary took on a few customers while he waited for papers or i don't know
i was asked by gary what i needed and again explained i wanted to change the expensive monitor for the NEC
he got it and he typed in $$246.40 the price, which ofcourse was not what was advertised in their Canada Day sale
I advised him, he argued, i said check your sale, he inputed the correct price $233 invoice#1246648P
He said that i could not receive my money back, but would need to return and buy something, I asked if he knew of anything that might be around the $100 credit that i may need he said no.
Just writing this i now realize i could have bought the CD 's on my credit, but was too angry from waiting all afetrnoon to get a simple exchange completed without incidence.
gary offered no help with this very heavy and awkward monitor
when i get home the monitor was defective, the video would intermittendly shrink
i called ncix and asked if i could bring in the monitor and change it, someone said yes, but then he gave the phone to Gary, and gary informed me that i should have bought a good monitor, i asked for the owners name, gary said i didn't need to know
i called NEC in UTAH, and have since shipped it out...to this day i am without a monitor and my business is on hold due to NCIX
what do i want, i want this posted
i posted it or tried to post it in their forums section for others to see, but they must being showing signs of embarassment , and indeed they should
very dissappointed,
