Fryes motherboard alert

If any of you are looking into purchasing part # 3614175 from Outpost.com beware of this item because it is being misrepresented on the website. In details, it says the board comes with Serial ATA :Silicon image with RAID feature,and no mention of it being an (option). Well mine came without it and I have read on other sites that people were slighted with the same feature. I am not sure if they bought it from Fryes as I did though. If you decide you want the board with the features MAKE SURE they physically verify it is on your board before they ship. In my case FIC wants me to ship it to them and I had to argue about it with them until they gave me an RMA#, then they acted like they were doing me a favor lol. With shipping charges and the loss of time that will be involved, I may just buy a serial pci card for $29 and avoid any more hassles. I should have verified that it was onboard the moment it arrived but alas I was still gathering parts over a 4 week span and my 30 days passed, in short ALWAYS check that EVERY feature ,wire, cord or whatever is present. I learned a lot from this experience.
