Outdoors New Egg Shipping

My very first time purchasing from these guys after holding off for so long from opening yet another computer part reseller account and my experience was not good at all.
I will avoid purchasing from these guys again in the future as much as I can. I placed a small order for parts that were in stock and the parts did not LEAVE NEWEGG'S LOCATION to go onto FedEx for 3 DAYS!!! FedEx Saver (3 Days) has now turned in to FedEx Ground!! I understand at least 1 day but 3 days. processing time but now I have to wait a whole 7 days for a small order. RIDICULOUS!!!.
The order was placed on 06/23/03 and did not leave their location until 06/25/03 despite the fact that I called them and was told that it was going to be shipped out on 06/24/03 so that I could at least get it on 06/27/03. Now I have to wait until 06/30/03 (7 days!!) for a very small order. Is there anyone else that has had a problem like this or agrees with me?

Newegg is one of the best, if not the best Online Store there is.

If I were you I would let them know by e-mail or phone what happened to you and I`m sure they will help you out.

I`ve been purchasing components from NewEgg since looooong time ago and never had a problem with them

Ditto, newegg is #1 in just about all of TechIMO members' favorites list. Just curious, how much was shipping? Most of newegg's parts are shipped free.

I had a problem like this about this time last year...I figure it's because a lot of high school students are graduating, and ordering stuff from them, so they're busy.

My supersaver shipments have always come overnight---yes im close---but ive never had a 3 day wait, especially for a ship notification---at this point of satisfaction I wouldnt complain if I did...

Good luck "elsewhere"...

I wonder if they had a problem verifying credit card info since it was his first order. I ordered a mobo Monday morning and it took them 1 day to pull the part and 2 days for FedEX to ship from Calif. to Georgia. I got the mobo today. This has been typical (3 days total). I've never had a problem with NewEgg.

I'd have to agree, my first time with them too, and from the praise they get, i guess my expectations was justa bit too high..and a good friend explained that in comarison to Crucial or Provantage.com, Newegg is like a mom and pop store..so i understood a bit better..Love their prices and their attention to supplying quality parts, so imma give ema break this time..

I got hosed on the CC thing too, but as soon as I cleared it up, the part was out the door. They're in CA and I'm in U.P.MI and I never wait more than three days from ship date. FedEx rocks.

The next time you order from them, you won't have to wait, I bet.

I have ordered form them 6 times and recived each item 3 days after ordering sept when I some how ordered 99 xp2500 chips (dont ask me how I did this) and they emailed me and checked to make sure thats what I wanted to do and then they overnighted 1 cpu for no extra cost. So that was actualy only 4 days. Newegg rocks!!!
