I have to vote Samsung. But the Envision has like 15hz more but who really cares.

Wish I could get a new monitor. 17''KDS

My recent Saga, which may or may not help ya:
Replaced the wife's 17" monitor with a new 19" Envision EN-985e. (I get the 17" for a dual setup).
The display was beautiful!
15 minutes later I get an SOS from her.
The entire 19"screen is blurred & unreadable.
Restart a couple of times & get: "NTLDR is missing" at boot screen.
I reinstall the 17" monitor & the display is perfect after a normal boot. This PC is AOK

Part 2
OK so I pull the monitor from another PC (#2) & setup the 19" on it, & get the same fuzzy screen.
I unplug it, phone re RMA, & figure that I wait a few days for a replacement.
I reinstall the original monitor to PC#2 & it will not boot, even in safe mode.
Tried repair install to no avail.
Reformat "C" twice & the XP install hangs at installing hardware (exactly when the screen flickers as the vid is set up).

Believing that the vid card was partially blown, I pulled it & replaced it with a spare.
Then clean install of XP went just fine, so I guess that even installing a new monitor has risks.
Who da thunk it!

Anyhoo, Staples was very good about the problem, & is delivering a replacement, & picking up the bad one.

I'm on a roll. Last week an almost new Antec True 480 had to be RMA'd.

I have the Samsung 955DF and love it. I've had it for roughly 18 months and have been nothing but pleased with it. I've never seen the other monitor though so I can't offer any input there.

Regards,
Scott

I recently did a build for a friend and used the 955DF. Nice monitor for the money.

I will not order from Staples ever again. They're a joke. Two orders, two pains in the neck. But then again, I'm the guy who gets his order screwed up every other time he eats out. It's not me, I swear. I must have been/done something really bad in a previous life.
