So you decided to build yourself ?

Yep, Komplett is good...ordered many things with them and never had problems. And their prices are low

Don't know about the Geforce, but I'm sure someone else will reply to that

Good luck.

Yeah. I figured that the money saved would be worth the "risk" of building it myself and as others have said, if I run into something I'm not too sure of I can always ask here .

Yep...that's what these forums are for...ask away!

Check out the graphics forum for you video card question...it has been asked and answered many times as to which video card is the best. What kind of games do you play? I'm not sure which would be more beneficial to you, the 4800 or the 4200. For the price, the 4200 seems to be the winner in these forums.

In the meantime, here are a few articles regarding brands of ti4200 cards:
MSI vs. AOpen vs. Abit

MSI vs. Gainward vs. Vistiontek vs. Best Data vs. X-Micro

Abit vs. Inno3D vs. Gainward vs. Prolink vs. Visiontek

There are tons of other companies making the 4200...Albatron, PixelView...I'm sure someone here can tell you about their experience.

My personal favorite video card is the ATI 9500 pro...for the money, it's performance can't be beat.

thekingofpain: Thanks! I looked around at reviews of the Leadtek and it does look very good indeed.

robin801: I hope it's that easy for me.
