Thanks for the advice Slaird. I think I'm going to have to call them, as the replacement I got does the same thing. I only had my computer plugged into it too, so I know it's not the load. (It's fairly tame right now... haven't had a chance to deck it out too much yet.

I'd concur with testing the unit before exchanging it. I've gotten 2 bad ones in a row, but you could have gotten a good one off the bat.
