Don't get rebates from Conairphone

I sent my rebates in January. About a month ago I contacted them and they said to send it again. I did and still nothing.

What's that website that you can report rebate scams to?

The only reason I got those 2-way radios is cause they were free after rebate. What a scam.

Did you make copies of all your paper work? Did you send it certified to make sure someone signed for it?

I have copies of everything. I didn't send it certified, but this 3rd time I will. I never had problems with rebates before.

Who is actually handling the rebate, rebateshq or someone else?

As far as certified mail, I never go that route and have never had a problem. The only thing I do is buy a certificate of mailing which basically gives you a receipt of the mailing date. Only reason I even bother with that was a denied rebate because rebateshq said that the rebate was postmarked after the required date. It wasn't but I had no proof to the contrary so I was burned on $20.00.

Keep an eye on the Cendyne thread in this same forum. I asked basically the same thing (where to report people screwing you on rebates). I *hate* people who rip others off!

I emailed them and they got back to me saying that it will take another 10 weeks, but they got it this time. So I'll keep that email that says that they received it as proof. Damn another 10 weeks. This is going to be a total of 22 weeks or so. They should have sent it out immidiately. Talk about delays. I hate mail in rebates now. I guess it's better then nothing, but what a bunch of BS that they don't sent them out sooner.

Is this the offer where you got 2 $10 rebates and 2 $5 rebates. If it is, I didn't get one of the $5 rebates. I called a couple of times but all I got was "the 2nd rebate should be coming in a few days...........sometimes they cut the checks on different days." Never followed up to see what happened. Guess that's what they wanted, huh?

Yes, the same rebates. I got the 2 $5 in about 10 weeks. It even showed that they received them on their website. It's those 2 $10 rebates that I never got.

Well it's been 12 weeks since they received my copy of the rebate stuff and a total of 22 weeks since I send in the original one and still no rebate check. This company is an obvious scammer. I wonder how many people they ripped off on this rebate. I will NEVER buy anything from them.

I'll probably just fill out a complaint form at BBB. Where else can I fill out forms to get them in trouble?
