Best distributor? Ingram, Techdata, synnex??

Any of you guys who are resellers have any strong preferences for one or another of the big distributors?

if you are running a smallish store are you still best to order from one of the big guys or would you do better to pick and choose and try to buy stuff on sale etc?

My ex-boss used to get most of his stuff from MA Labs cuz they accepted his Microsoft credit line (or something like that). I would often bring him in specials I have found online and he would shrug them off cuz he had to order LOTS of stuff per month or per order from MA Labs.

is that the way most of the big guys are..where you have to have large minimum purchases?

I suppose obviously the smaller orders dont get any sort of price breaks at all so maybe the big distributors arent the best solution for the smaller reseller?

no one shops from distributors? Somehow all of your IT gear magically shows up on your doorstep?

I would go w/ Ingram Micro over Synnex.

I used to use Ingram Micro a few years ago and here recently went to apply w/ Synnex, and their online form wasn't working.

That didn't say too much to me.
