Shipping Costs for Compgeeks

Hello, I'm the new guy.
I see the deals for the cases at Compgeeks, does anyone know about how much they charge for shipping? I live in Indiana. Thanks

As close as I can tell, Geeks charges actual cost for UPS shipping. On a bulky item like that, though, it's gonna hurt. It's been quite a while since I got a conventional case from them, so I can't remember offhand. A couple of folks around here have gotten them more recently, so maybe they'll chime in.

The last case I got from them was a very heavy steel 4 space rackmount server case, very industrial-strength. Shipping to Ohio was about $30-$35, but the price of the case, even with shipping, made it a good deal. I don't remember that a conventional case was anything near that, though.

Oh, and WELCOME TO TIMO!!!

You can figure your shipping after you add a item to your cart

they are usually pretty good about shipping and yeah the do an actual cost alot of times my bill ends up lower than quoted on the site. best thing to do is put everything in your cart and start the checkout process they will give an estimated shipping cost

I bought a case, 5 mice, and a couple other things and they charged me 11.00 for shipping to Arkansas.

Welcome to Techimo, mashpar:

Since Compgeeks is located in Illinois or Ohio(?), seems that shipping wouldn't be too bad to Indiana. To SC is usually $10-$12 for a case, UPS Ground.

As stated above, you can compute shipping on the site, before entering any billing info, etc., which is one thing I really like about Compgeeks. They're not perfect, and do "drop the ball" occasionally, but I do business w/ them on a fairly regular basis.

Hope this helps. . .

- Bill

Yeah you can click the "compute shipping" on the 1st page after you add it to your cart,, unlike some places that want your CC number before giving you the info.

As far as the case shipping, to Ga from Ca it's about $16~
