I have not dealt with htese guys directly, almost onece from my post before about tiger.com,I guess i would have been screwed either way.
But the fact that retailers are ignorant and retarded about dealing with their customers is unfortunately only bad luck when one of us runs across them, but is not illegal unless proven by law an circumstance.
The best way to deal with these types of merchants is to let the WWW world know, and that will create a dot bomb, and thus ease our anxiety and temptations to got for the "good" deal on the web.Tiger direct is the ring leader when it comes to deceptive practices, but I will tell you honestly that i dealt with them with the resources that our tax money pays for, that included the attorney general of their satate, the BBB, the advocacy for consumers, consumer affairs, and a couple more i can't remember. I got results, and they stood up and looked at me and my dissatifaction, and I got my money back, every hard earned penny!
Use your tax paying resources,it does'nt take as long as one thinks, and it really does work. Just state your case one perfectly stated document, and send it to every advocacy group and consumer complaint service where they are you can find, and I guarantee you, you will get results!
