Ink for cartridge refill

Hi,
I refill used ink cartridges for my parents(cost about a 1/10 or oem) and we are out of ink so I was checking if anyone knows a good source for ink. Looking to buy about 10-15 refills. Thanks.

Here is a very good place that really knows the inks and has alot of info for people who are wondering about refilling. They carry bulk supplies also.

I would buy a bulk package. You can usualy buy large bottles of this stuff cheap.

Make sure to get high quality ink. there are lots and lots of poor quality ink on the market.

Around the beginning of the year, Walmart had some refill kits at their checkouts, from OnTel. I got a black only starter kit for <$20. The OnTel company seems to be buried within Universal-Inkjet, and Universal Inkjet also has a different branch called CBW, now known as Kalvins Kelvins Refill kits. The black starter kit at this link is what I bought at Walmart (different printing on the retail box, though).
Shopping around in the Kalvins site (here), I see gallon jugs and smaller quantities.

I like what I got for my money, but there is nothing in my starter kit for resetting the cartridges (some cartridges count the droplets, and when the count hits a limit, the cartridge refuses to fire, no matter how much ink is in the cartridge).
I cannot vouch for these merchants, Universal Inkjet, Kalvins, OnTel or CBW; I can only say that the Walmart refill thing works slick, has very good docs, and worked for me on my older style HP cartridges and one Canon cartridge.
The downside is that one HP cartridge has leaked, essentially my fault, but the leak emptied a half full cartridge inside the (old) printer. Hope it still prints.....

I got a refill kit for my Epsons at Atlas because it came with a resetter chip:
http://atlascopy.com/
It worked GREAT on my friend's C60 cartridges, but I cannot get it to print with the yellow ink on my 820 cartridges. I got some refilled cartridges from 4Inkjet.com and I can't get yellow out of them either - I just realized that maybe it''s my printer that's screwed up. Oh well.
Anyway, they have pretty good service. Also, take a look at InkjetMall too - they have a good web site for ink jet stuff and information:

IMO refills have a damaging effect on your printer. and I believe using refills voids the warrenty

Some people have printers that are older than warranty, like my Hewlett Packard 520, from... I think it was made 1997-ish. Why would I want to drop >$24 per cartridge for a new HP cartridge? Refills cost me ~$7, for as long as the jets in the old cartridge hold out.

Since the printer is wicked old, I could care less about factory service - I can replace the old HP with a <$30 new printer, get more pages per minute from the new printer, and I can toss out that new printer when the cartridge dries out and get yet another <$30 printer. Who sends these cheap printers in for warranty, anyway?

The problem with refilling is that their are sooo many rumors that manufacturers have planted making people think they hurt you equipment or it will void the warranty. If you know what your doing and use quality inks you will not damage anything. It is also a rumor that it will void your warranty refilling. Or you could enjoy spending 30-50.00 a pop for 8ml of ink in a factory cartridge.
