Ink for cartridge refill

Well its actually against the law to void a warranty unless if they can prove that damage was done by the cartridge in ?. Anyways with the printer I have the print head is in the cartridge so if that gets damage which it actually got burnt up(don't think it was the refill ink) it didn't damage the printer a bit. They have to prove that the printer ink was the culprit of the damage which usually it isn't.

How do you know which one is quality ink. The last time we bought ink was about 3.5 years ago and my parents bought the ink.

Can't help on the determination of which ink is best, other than to say that the Walmart stuff (OnTel) is decent.

How much does the OnTel stuff cost? Can you buy just the ink? What sizes do they sell the ink? Can you buy just black and not color?

Thanks, might be better if we can have it within a few days because we might have a few cartridges to fill.

chris64... my refill kit cost <$20, and I said that my kit was only black ink. To add more info: the kit I bought had 3 bottles (I think they were 25mL) of ink, and the kit had a solvent bottle (and syringe) as well. Walmart also offered color kits at that time, but I did not buy any of those. I did not see anything other than those 2 kits in Walmart.

As for buying only the ink, I do not think any retail merchants would have only ink. You'd probably have to get large quantities via websites. Just visit any of the sites I posted and see what the costs are.

Looks like 250ml is a little over half a pint. I think I'll go with the one from www.atlascopy.com because I also need some ball bearings for the black cartridge.
