Kids SIMM Memory - Where to Buy?

I have a VERY OLD 486 computer that only has 32 MB of SIMM memory in it and I wanted to upgrade it to as much as I can. Although, I'm having a hard time finding a place that still sells the stuff. Any ideas where I can buy some on the net?

Go to a local salvation army and get a old computer then you'll have a bunch of parts, maybe a better processor, video card, lots a simms. After that you'll have a gaming machine. j/k but still look at a salvation army, lots of old computers.

I find that ebay is the best source of Ram for older 486 and Pentiums. You will need to know the type of memory you require. It's either edo or fpm and parity or non-parity. You can go to the crucial site and use their configurer to find this out.

I have found many sources on ebay and the ram I have bought more than acceptable. As a matter of fact, I just bought some for an old 486 I just rebuilt.

Hope this helps you out and I look forward to see what other have to say.

Call me stupid, but I am a little young I guess (26) and don't know all that much about this older SIMM type RAM, so explain to how I tell what kind of memory I have.

EDIT: There are two sticks in there, each 16 MB, and they have chips only on one side. Also, there are a total of 3 memory slots on the mobo.

I have a simmverter that takes the really old sims (4 of em) and makes them one newer sim. You might be able to put all 32 on it I dont know.
