Kids Cordless keyboard/trackball

Does anybody know why Logitech or other companies do not manufacture a cordless keyboard and trackball combo?

I prefer a trackball over a mouse and would love to have one of those combos.

Have emailed Logitech with this question but got no reply.

I agree... such a combo would be nice. But only if the trackball was a thumb-operated model. IMO finger-operated ones are worthless. I'd rather have a mouse.

I use the Cordless access k/b
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?pa...9&languageid=1
and the cordless trackman (thumb controlled) marblemouse
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?pa...9&languageid=1

---works great!---

Edit to add linkage--- shop around---k/b cost me 30$ mouse was 50$

Argh - who uses the dang finger-controlled units anyhow? What are they so freaking popular? I HATE those things...

keyboard /trackball combo

I wouldn't have anything BUT a trackball.....the thumb operated on of course.

Have had the trackball marble for our desktop for years and it still works great.
Have the cordless trackman marble for the laptop and I love it also.
It's too bad that they don't seem to make a cordless keyboard/trackball combination with just one sending unit for our desktop.

I just doubleside taped the 2 recievers together and tossed em behind the couch---dont let that keep you from being happy---the marblemouse trackball corded or otherwise is the only thing ive used for 8 years---cant be beat...
