Can't be any worse than the Office Max in my community. Never anyone working there, and most of the help they have might know how to actually turn on a computer on a good day.
Fry's is all about learning the store and finding stuff yourself, ive got 4 of them all the same distance from me, problem is they are all "themed" different so there is no real consistancy (except no help when needed) between em...
hehe I went to "The" store for the first time when another meber invited me up to Austin to help me with my system. I had the same reaction. We were running out of time, or else I would have stayed for a long time.

Yup, Fry's is the absolute worst. I won't go near the place anymore.
chirs that is exactly what they do to me too. Even after asking 3 differnet people we got sent to a different place each time. Now I don't bother asking anymore and keep wandering till I find them.
I agree that if you want stuff from frys plan on being there for a while if not for the fun of it, for the time it needs to find stuff. Ours is about a 45 minute drive for us and we usally plan about an hour to 2 hours in the store to find our items ourselfs. I personally like frys. I just make sure I stay away from the sticker(s) of deaths on products.
