Power Supply

I'm trying to build a personal file server at home, and so far I've bought everything that I needed. My only problem is all the power supplies that I've looked at have 4 IDE connectors. Does anyone know where I can buy a fairly cheap 350+ watt power supply with atleast 8 connectors?

You can get "Y" adaptors for it to make extra conenctors, or look here for some cheap PSUs.

if you are very frugal and have an old useless psu you can cut off the wires and attach them to wires on your psu in use =) thats what i would do, but then again i don't have much money to spend =)

i recently ordered a Foxconn/allied p/s 450 true power for 46 shipped at newegg and this thing is rock solid. My 12v stays between 12.29 to 12.22, and the 5v stays between 4.81 to 4.76 They have a 350 watt at newegg for 24 bucks, and i would imagine it would have the same the quality. My 450 is inceridly quiet, and actually if you have the money, i would pick up one of these.

I'd get a good (400+ Watt) PSU and a really cheap used/busted/whatever PSU. Then, cut the leads of the cheap one off right at the box and solder them in directly to the rail of the good one. This will clearly void the warranty on the new unit, but will give you what you need without adding extra stress to the existing leads like adding a splitter or Y-adapter would.
Just my $.02
