"Buyers remorse"--interesting
I ran across this interesting "disclaimer" at an online store....Ive never seen a store go thru quite this detailed of an essay into psychology, lol...interesting.
Quote------->
What is "buyer's remorse?"
Answer: Buyers' remorse is an emotional response that many buyers experience during the course of a Sale transaction. The response can take various forms such as feelings of regret, fear, depression or anxiety. For some buyers, these feelings are probably related to the uncertainty that results from relinquishing control. Your present Purchase may no longer suit your needs. When you decide to buy a product, you're forced to step outside your current comfort zone and confront the unknown. Your mind may try to compensate psychologically for feelings of uncertainty by mentally undoing the event. In other words, you may try to talk yourself out of buying your purchase. Add feelings of uncertainty to the fear of making a long-term commitment, and it's easy to understand why buyers can suffer from bouts of anxiety. The Seller notes and considers remorse, but must charge the customer(Buyer) a fee for restocking and applicable administrative expenses.
hehe, Jp

hehe.....usually when you find someone doing that much explaining and pre emptive butt covering...you can assume more than a few of their buyers have had "buyers remorse". lol.
Kinda like the dirtbag crook I used to work for...he used to tell people how "honest" he was etc and on his website it says stuff like "we just moved into our new location and signed a 5 year lease SO YOU KNOW WE'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE"...hehe....of course he and his wife have split up and he is gone, lol....she is running it now, of course he had everything in her name anyway so he could leave scott free when he wanted to.
But he is a good example that when someone has to huff and puff and blow themselves up like a ballon...that they arent for real...they KNOW deep inside that they are a slimeball so they think others will sense it too, which they DO, but the think that by making lots of promises and explanations that they will ease peeps fears. But I guess in their dishonesty they dont even REALIZE that they come across as lying weasels...they have no sense of reality cuz theyve lied to THEMSELVES for so long.
Funny thing happened other day, i was giving a guitar lesson to a guy...he sees the comps in my living room for sell, lol....he has no clue where I used to work or anything like that...he says he talked to the guy at "my ex store" and he said the guy (my ex boss) was ok to talk to but that he caught him in a couple of lies right off the bat.
hehe, made me remember how my skin crawled when I was in the back working on comps and I heard his various sales pitches...95% lies of course....for instance how he told peeps about the modems we used "we had these modems designed specially for "our town" to give the best possible internet connections" blah blah.....of course they were just the same old motorola modems that everyone uses, lol. What a loser.
And then the weird ironies like when he sold a system to a cop and something was wrong with the display or video...to appease the situation he had the tech load a bootleg copy of a program on the cops comp....rich irony, putting illegal software on a COPS computer, lol
End rant, JP

Buyers Remorse is the 19 year old who ignores Dads mention of checking the insurance on the new Trans Am before purchase,
upon learning the insurance payment exceeds the car payment, Mister Know-it-all is stricken with a strong case of Buyers Remorse |

"Buyers remorse" could also be your good sense overcoming the brief euphoria you experience once you decided to buy something.

buyers remorse was found on www.techsmart.com site .... we went up there once and totally stuffed a big uhaul FULL of systems etc...that purchase went ok cuz we were there to kind of keep an eye on it, but later orders kind of slipped in quality and we may have suffered a little buyers remorse, hehe.
But overall it reminds me of a proverb in the Bible---->
"Its no good, its no good" the buyer claims...then he goes and brags about his purchase.
lol.
