Kids Radeon Video Card

What is the difference between the
Radeon 9700 Pro 128MB DVI/CTR/TV/RTL and the
Sapphire ATI Radeon 9500Pro 128MB, DVI/CRT/TV ?
The Sapphire is about 150.- more.
I don't intend to hook up to the TV,etc. What I want is to get the best performance possible in order to run Flightsims.
Have decided to go with the AMD processor after reading the various posts.
Thanks in advance for your input. Ann

Performance due to memory bandwidth and fillrate potential is the big difference. Between the two cards, I recommend the 9700p for optimum performance. You will probably want to use FSAA and anisotropic filtering to attain max detail in your FlightSims, and the 9700 is well suited for these graphically intensive tasks.
