Well i wasnt at ALL trying to brag or anything like that....I just mean to show that you need that kind of resolve in business, lol...or creeps and criminals like rebate houses will run all over you. you need to have the mind set that you re NOT going to be their easy victim....its just like on the street...some people walk around looking weak and insecure...they usually get jumped...other peeps walk around looking confident, making eye contact etc...they usually get left alone. Same with rebates to an extent.
Not that I havent worried a time or two, you all know I have cuz I have posted up for rebate help before.
What got me going on rebates was the fact that my first few I sent in were rejected and I just went along with it wondering what went wrong....then next time I was triple sure I did everything correctly and they still rejected it..so I KNEW something was up...I think by then that I had a scanner hooked up (bought for 19$ with rebate! lol)...anyway, I probably called in ready to kill someone, all excited etc...but I got the rebate, and now I dont get excited cuz I know its just part of their little game.
Someone said rebateshq made over $3,000,000 in uncliamed or rejected rebates last year.
But anyway, just wanted everyone to know I am not making myself out to be some kind of super rebate dude, lol.....besides I havent even TRIED to do instore pricematches yet..so I still have lots to learn.
