Least expensive 17" CRT?
OK, so my monitor is shot and I've got almost nothing to spend on a new one. I can't deal with anything smaller than 17" and need something under like $80 if possible. I know I've seen them here and there at staples or whatever with all the rebates, coupons, and such but can't seem to find one when I need it. Can someone please help me?

The only thing that I can find to even come close is an " off Lease" monitor from MerKor Tech.
They have a reseller rating of 9.19!
May not meet your needs but I figured I would give it a shot. http://www.merkortech.com/details.asp?iid=228

Thanks so much doc! If nothing shows up in today's ads, I'll jump right on it.

Doc's right. Things a little dry compared to just after the first of the year.
I believe BB has a 17" Magview for $90 after $70 rebate, but I really don't care much for RCA stuff. Only has a one year warranty.
Haven't set up that LGX750 yet, but got it because I was impressed with the flat screen, picture brightness and clarity, and small footprint, when I saw it in the store. Made by LG Electronics, whose products I really like.
Unfortunately, it's warranty is only one year, but all you do is take it back,(along with your receipt), to OfficeMax, and they're supposed to give you a new one. There's no on-line registration.
K - you could always wait one more week for new ads to come out ; but one week is a long time to be w/out your PC.
So that's $190 - $40 iR - $20 - $40 MIR = $90 net + tax. ; there's got to be at least a $30 off $150 valid code out there. . .can't seem to find one. If you go with the LGX750, and have it delivered, make certain that you go on-line and get a packing slip to enclose with your rebate info. Mine did not come w/ a packing slip, so I just sent in my on-line receipt. Six weeks later I get a rebate rejection stating that I didn't include a copy of the packing slip. Six weeks! But I think this is your deal, and it's a very good one.
There's got to be a valid coupon code for Staples, which has the 19" Envision flat CRT for $200 - $20 MIR,(yawn) = $180 , but we should be able to score a coupon. Three year warranty. I believe that's the silver and black job, if that works for you. Let's see. . .
The only one I can get to work on-line is 12182 which is $20 off $150. Was looking for a bigger one, but they were all expired.
Hope this helps.

I found this link which will give 30 off 150 instead of the 20 off. That should drop the overall price down to 80net + tax. If there's a 30 off 150 floating around (or even a 20 or 10 off) it would just make it even better.
I know that there's tons of staples, office depot, etc. coupon codes out there, but i have yet to find a working officemax code. The search will continue...
