You can get a cheap 19in monitor at newegg for about 150.
How much do you have to spend?

I am not buying them, but $175 or less would be nice for a good quality monitor (doesn't have to be great but must be good)
and under $70 for the speakers, i saw the suggestion for the 5.1speakers logitech for $40 but resellerratings says they might be used..

I have some cyber Accustics 2 speakers with Sub. They are not 5.1 but they sound good. I am willing to part them for 25$.

Dude I wish you lived near me, but you are all the way across the country...cuz I have two envision 19", new in boxes that Ive been sitting on for a while..it wouldnt break my heart to move em.
The shipping would be too much but Id move em for 165 to a fellow techster....hehe...of course when I sell em locally I will get $200 for em.
if you can wait, they always have the 19" envisions at staples with rebates every few months. Seems I got em in the 129 to 139 range.

They're looking for B&M for the monitors unless they have free shipping like newegg...
