I ordered 256mb of pc133 ram for my a clients computer.

When I switched out the 64mb stick for this stick it wouldnt post. So I tested it in a second pc with no post.

I then in the second pc put it by its self (minus the other stick of ram)

No post.


Its bad yes but what will newegg do about it? I put in my rma request already.

I got the ram today so I think it should all be fine. Do I have to ship my item back at my expince?

Will they just ship me a new one first?

did it once myself... but forgot everything =)

EDIT: I do remember that I paid shipping back to them.... They ship to you as soon as the RMA is approved... you have 15 days to send the item back to them then.... I think anyway.

Well I brought the ram home and tested it in one of my computers and it doesnt work.

I guess I will have to put up some of my own ram for temp use with the client untill I get the whole rma process finished.

For what it's worth, I've RMA'd ram to them with no problems.

i rmad a mobo and cpu no restocking fee but I did have to cover the shipping myself no biggie sent it snail mail through the post office and newegg had my new stuff to me within a week. Newegg rules

I think they should throw in something free for my troubles (pushing his luck here)
Actulay I like newegg so now problem.

if you email newegg and tell them what a great job they are doing they usually send you a giftpack at least they did for me anyway.

Ok I just checked my email and they had aproved my RMA request so all is good.

Then I emailed them a response sucking up to them and thanking them for the fast rma aproval.

yeah it took about two weeks but they sent me a free tshirt and some case badges and stuff I love newegg
