I picked up one of the Tech Solutions shredders that Staples was offering last month as a freebie (well, $19.95 with a $19.95 MIR) if you bought TurboTax/Quicken. I just tried it out today. What a screaming piece of crap. It won't even shred a single piece of typing paper without gagging. I choked it with just a few receipts fed in one at a time. I guess it's true what they say...there is no free lunch.

i bought a 7 dollar shredder from walmart and put it atop my trashcan and it works like a dream. Wal-mart, is there anything they dont have. (other than computer good stuff)

M_Six, a lot of those personal shredders won't work with more than 3-4 regular sheets of paper.
