Gaming WARRANTY VOID IF REMOVED DISCLAIMERS ON RAM: BEWARE

I recently ordered PC2700 512MB 333MHZ RAM with E-NET MARKETING INC. , (Top???? Rated on Yahoo) aka BWSHOPPER.COM or ENETSHOPONLINE.COM. All got fair ratings here... Well, the RAM came with glued heatspreaders and paper stickers saying WARRANTY VOID IF REMOVED. This made me curious: why void warranty if I remove a crappy heatspreader???? So I scrape off the glue and find PC2100 DDR.

LESSON LEARNED: ALWAYS, ALWAYS CHECK THE CHIPCODES ON THE RAM AFTER YOU BUY CHEAP RAM. BE ESPECIALLY AWARE IF YOU SEE DISCLAIMERS OR: COMES WITH HEATSPREADERS WHETHER YOU WANT EM OR NOT.

PS: company does not reply to phonecalls or emails. So I notified:
Mastercard (fraudclaim)
FTC
IFCC
BBB
PRICEWATCH
RESELLERRATINGS
PRICEGRABBER

you can get good ram thats cheap..
you can also find out how fast ram is without taking off a heat spreader.. if you were told it would void the warranty.. programs like sandra can give this info

Food Yeah SiSoft can do it too

But I don't care about that... Fact is: they cannot void warranty by law with that sticker. It does not hold up in this situation. Heatspreaders are removable items and they clearly try and discourage the non-technical user from ever finding out.

Just beware, all I ask. I will put the heat up on these guys until they are sick of me.
