ebay is hardly the right place to use as a measuing stick. if you wait for the occasional special from staples or dell, you can pcik up a fully loaded modern laptop for $600 and change.
w/the p2-300 inquestion you have to consider what shape the battery is in and also factor in the cost of more memory, etc.
plus, that machine is probably either out of warranty or in the last year of coverage.
i personally would not spend more than $150 for it. if you think about the points i posted, you might begin to see that it's good advice.
but if you wanna blow your money on it, go right ahead.
