Staples canned air rebate problem

Ok, I got the little canned spray cleaner to get my total over $200..it has a 3$ rebate, hehe...problem being it asks for the upc symbol off of the can but there is nothing to remove...the upc is anodized onto the can itself...in other words there is no label or anything to remove.

Any ideas??

Do you have a blow torch? When does the rebate expire? Could you use up the canned air before the rebate expires?

tin snips man, tin snips. or maybe a scanner/copier would work if they accepted it.

You can also use one of those compactors to crush aluminum cans.

Usually they don't ask for the UPC on the canned air. For $3, why worry about it?

Well at first I figured it was a label on the can...and it isnt a lot of light on this side of the room..so I had my knife out that I cut off upcs with..Im carvin into the can trying to get the upc off..then I feel the scratch I am making and realize I am going into the can and not any label!
