Well overall Im not in the hole at all..as long as you sell the stuff you are straight.

yeah I misunderstood your comment in the other thread.

At the moment I have maybe a couple hundred tied up since I just sent off peachtree rebate etc...but peachtree sells pretty decent in local papers etc so I wont be in the hole for long on that.

And those nice rebate checks in the mail are so sweeett..especially after you forget they are coming.

Seriously, I am not sure I would get that worked up about filling out a piece of paper and then spending 37 cents on stamp and then another nickel or so on an envelope for $3.

You could spend that 10 - 15 minutes of effort dorking around on this forum instead.

I have about $1,000 outstanding right now.

Hey did any of you do the Cyberrebate thing before they went belly up? I got about "$5,000" worth of stuff for free but I was smart enough to stop buying about three months before Christmas so that my rebate would be coming to me as many people were sending in their money. I started to get worried but my money showed up a couple weeks into the new year. A few months after that they BKed. I heard some lady got stiffed for $80k! What was she thinking?

Admittedly, when you discount their prices back to real-world values it was only about $1,500 of stuff.

Once my "balance" gets past $100, I wait for a few checks to come in before spending any more money on comp stuff. Intuit owes me $83 right now.
