Dear
WDolfan and Others,
When thse Vendor problems happen --the bad part is often not only the badd goods and loss of money, but of A) the sense of having been "victimized" and B) the sheer utter waste of our time.
Even if one were to get every dime returned --and that is not assured --you often have to spend weeks and weeks fighting them to do it. For them, it's only a "business".
Besides the Posted
DONT'T BUY .COM Advisory on this Forum, I also wrote,
Shoudn't We Be Reimbursed for Our Time That Vendors Waste". http://www.techimo.com/forum/t89985.html
With DON'T BUY.COM, I cut it off before I gave any money to a Co. that was not keeping its word. But my time in hours was still wasted.
There are both practical and psychological aspects to these disputes. I suggested a practical solution to the psychological aspects in the post hyperlinked above.
The important thing is to regain a sense of control. Just look at how much time and effort they are extracting from you; doesn't that deserve reimbursement for ? Decptive Vendors should learn, "Time is money".
