Need generic front USB jacks

In desperate need of front USB connections so I was looking for a 3.5" or 5.25" drive bay cover with such an arrangement. I was hoping CompGeeks would have some so I could get them and the printer deal in one fell swoop. But it dosen't seem like it's going to happen. Anyone seen such a thing lately at a decent price? Thanks.

Outdoors You guys a friggin GREAT!

Front USB, back USB, 2.0 to 1.1 compatibility. It's enough to make you go MAD! ..............

How about a serial infrared port, SIR1 on my mobo. Also has anyone seen a sound upgrade for the CNR slot that a meathead consumer like me can purchase..............I have a CNR modem source if anyone is interested but Iwould really like CNR 5.1 soundcard and this IrdA serial output device.

OK back to my spice desert to drink worm water..hehehe

Paul

Misc Thanks for the help

I was hoping for a few more finds or even to find something locally but, alas, they seem to be quite rare. I will probably go for the NewEgg 2-port as it seems to be the best priced. Thanks iNeb.
Paul Muad'dib, your post was REALLY helpful. Thanks,... NOT!

PS Sorry it took so long to respond

No problem, good luck!

The 4 port looks nice, but you have to connect it to a current USB port!

I have several USB form cards that I may try to mod into a drive bay cover.

Systems In need of USB

Sorry I was not more of help. If you go on the Asus.com page Motherboards link then Accessories. They have many panel solutions. Where do you purchase them I have no clue. I am a small builder. I could purchase a Aopen front mounting USB add-on with mic and speaker. After shipping it is the same price as the other post $10-$12. If you have no luck with your MOD let me know if this will be of help. If you have no front panel opening for front USB (I've used the emblem indent since the material is thinner) you will still need to MOD a cull and be handy with a drill and super glue.
