USA to London for $99 - British Airways
British Airways has a deal that expires at midnight 2/13 to fly from ANY of their 20 USA gateway cities to London for $99 each way. You can add on a flight to any of 20 European cities for $49 more each way. Therefore, you can get to Rome or Nice or Barcelona for $148 each way plus the usual taxes and fees.
You can fly between 2/18 and 3/31 or next Fall. If you want to fly in April, May or October, add $50 each way.
I have flown BA and they are a great airline.
London may be cold and dreary now but compared to the 1 degree (F) in Iowa today anything is better plus the Riviera has got to be decent in late March.

Read the fine print, there was a discussion on the radio last night about this. Great idea if you are flexible though.

Maybe a forum for other non-computer related deals is necessary?
THis should have been posted in "suggestions" forum.

Buy some computer stuff while you're there.
Now it's computer related.

OK *sshole! I didn't read the rules and I'm sorry. What about all the f*cking posts about Columbia House DVD deal? Lighten up. People will be less inclined to post deals - any deals - if they get treated like sh*t by uptight *ssholes that abuse them for trying to share some deals.
I'll take it to another forum like Spoofee.com.

question when did the rules change? and why is it limited to computer stuff only? A deal is a deal no matter what it is. IMHO

Philba... maybe u forgot to read the rules.... Quote: |
You will not behave in an abusive or hateful manner, and will not harass, threaten, or attack anyone, whether implied or expressed. This is strictly enforced.
| I agree too, deals shouldn't be limited to computer related items ... But the rules in the top forum thread state: Quote:
4. Please limit the forum to Computer related items.
Items that are IMHO acceptable but not totally related would be Security, DVD players, video game systems, batteries, computer tools etc.
If you find deals totally outside the technical inclination of this forum, post em in General Discussin & Buyer Gudance
