Hi,

If it's posted in the right place or not it is still an outstanding deal.

It costs a lot more than that to fly from here to London round trip w/o a Saturday night stay.

I don't disagree with the rules that they should be computer-related.

There are other forums where I can post the airfare deal.

I just got bent out of shape about the abusive, flaming way I was informed of the rules. No sense in beating a dead horse, what is done is done and we'll move on.

I didn't mean to come across as snotty, jdurbin. My apologies. I was also about to post a non-computer deal here just two days ago when I noticed that Rule #4, so I thought I'd point it out.

I like that rule because I like knowing I can come here and find good computer or tech related deals and not have to wade through knee-deep dross like free flowers and such. Maybe we need another forum for non-tech deals?

This deal seemed ok for in here as an exception - not sure where else I'd stroll across it. Fine print was not so fine though - $94 in additional fees and taxes. Ouch.

sorry if this was viewed as abusive - it was intended more tongue in cheek. obviously, it didn't come across that way. my appologies. quitting one's job after years doesn't make for a clear head.

I've been getting tired of all these non tech posts. If ya want travel bargains there are far far better places to look. DVDs, ditto. and the rules are pretty clear. yeah, on abusive posts as well. wont happen again from me. [btw, I didn't actually see any anti abuse rule in the "rules" post. nevertheless, it should be there.]

Doc is the mod, he gets to call the rules, like it or not that's the way it iz. So members dont get to make exceptions, doc does. If he wants to change the rules and allow non-tech, that's his perogative. I hope he doesn't cause I like the focus, though.

Oh yeah, doc, please edit one response up there. it is much worse than my comments (I didn't do name calling).
