a $14 modem from www.newegg.com
a $25~ stick of 128mb ram and you're good to go.
The "almost gone" light is LIT, they aren't kidding when this is on.

W95 works ok with 64mb RAM, better with 128+
W98 gets by with 128mb, better with 192+
