I'd contact some of the buyers and ask them questions. I've had people do this to me several times and I've done it before. Most people are pretty nice about it. Fin some of the people with several feedbacks. The private auction seems a little odd to me. Like they are just jacking the prices up {wich is common on ebay}
Might I suugest next time looking at feedback before making a major purchase
Be careful w/ all the schemes out there, dude. A lot of people have no qualms about scraping and altering model numbers, etc. and making it look like the computer is a better-performing sister in its model line.
I appreciate the input but my sister's gone and done it. Won the auction and sent the money. I asked her about the feedback--mostly positive but includes people who gave good marks because their money was promptly refunded. She said, hey, only a couple negatives.
