I to was done in by the rebate. It is not the fault of OfficeMax. It is the fault of a group call Continental Promotion Group. Their number is 866-260-4387. I have emailed the website
www.rebatestatus.com for customer service 4 times and have been told that I had a valid rebate offer and that a check was mailed 4 weeks ago. I asked them to stop pay and reissue. They say they no longer do business with Logysis and can't send out a check.
I have since sent a letter to the CEO, Sam Garvin, and two other VPs with Continental Promotion Group, Rick Baer and Bryan Ehrenfreund. I just did that today (5/2/03). I have been trying to get a number for Logysis to complain to them; however, it appears that they are a subsidiary of a larger corporation. You can type in Continental Promotion Group and find out the Corporate 800 number. When you get that number as for Mrs. Kat Boatman. Tell her that you know multiple people that this has happened to. I left her a voicemail this morning.
I have email responses that say I have a valid rebate offer. However, now that 6 months have passed, CPG is not willing to pay up. I hope more people look into it.
