If you're sold on the nForce2 chipset(I am to), here's an alternative that's pretty good itself-the MSI K7N2-L-AGP8x, 5PCI, 3 DDR dimm(supports 266,333, and 400), 6 USB 2.0(4 back, 2 front), LAN, 266/333 FSB, ATA 133,& 6channel audio for $104.49 shipped. Not a bad board IMHO and a great price. Here's the link http://www.googlegear.com/jsp/Produc...uctCode=241028

I've bought from googlear.com before and personally it has been a couple of great experiences. Here's their resellerrating http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1991.html A lifetime rating of 8.03 and a six month rating of 8.53.

Just got my two motherboards from aicmicro. Packaging was lame (Two motherboards in a box) and the motherboard boxes did not have shrink wrap over them. Never ordered a motherboard online before but looks good

FROM RESELLERRATINGS

I ordered two motherboards from this new company. They shipped it out the same day I ordered it (1/21) and got it today.

The motherboards came in a box, no packaging protection. And the boards boxes were not sealed, this is my third time ordering online every so I'm not sure if they are suppose to be sealed. The boards look new, and they were sealed in their anti static bag with scotch tape.

I have not tested the products yet since they are for my new computer's I am building.

They got here fast and no problems that I know of, will buy again if needed. A little unhappy with packaging but it's fine.

Also, they made me pay $20 sales tax. I don't know if this is standard but I am not in California state, I am in Washington state. Un happy with that, but shipping was free.

The credit card billing address that paid for the boards is in California, so that might of been the problem.

Just for future reference I've had good luck with Z-buy. Used them several times.

I've bought from GameVE and never had any problems. Ordered a graphics card previously...I had entered my CC# incorrectly and they called the next morning to fix it. I had my order within 6 days (UPS Ground) and it was well packaged and exactly what I ordered.

iNeb, look on the back of the boards to see if there is a sticker with a code or date on it. Sometimes a retailer opens boards and applies the sticker for warranty purposes. That could explain why they were not shrink wrapped. That's the way my last 2 boards were, because they were dated by the seller.
