Kids Memory prices USA/UK?
Why oh why are prices for memory about a 1/3 cheaper in the US than in the UK? There even appears to be more choice!! As I've been reading through,and subsequently found Compuvest selling the exact mem I need (EEC SDRAM DIMM 168pin 100Mhz <=10ns). The only place I've yet seen selling this type! Any techies out there who know of cheap mem supplies in the UK? It seems crazy,even with the shipping charges I hope this is in the right section, please feel free to put it in its right place

Ah, the answer was right under my nose. I keep forgetting the UK is one of the most taxed countries I know of! I'll be ordering direct from the US from now on. P.S. It was one of your links that took me to that site as well...keep up the good work

Lol Tagstar,

I fly to the US 2 / 3 times a year on average, and always stock up over there, the only way you will get comparable prices in the UK is at Gunpoint !!
