It may be printed on your receipt, usually on the front or back...(?)

No, the return date is not on the receipt.
Thank you!

Did you try www.walmart.com and see if they show company policy.

Just a guess BTW

Can we infer that you are disappointed with the LCD? Thanks.

This is the policy that I found on www.walmart.com .

"Computer Hardware and Components: Computer hardware and components must be returned by mail with any included software within 15 days of receipt. "

I am not sure that whether local walmart stores have the same policy though. I am also not sure about whether Computer Hardware and Components include LCD monitors.

The KDS Rad-5 LCD 15" I got from Walmart is fine. The problem is that the font is a bit too small even after I changed to big font.

Thanks!

Jim

Jim:
Do you think you are running at 1024x768 resolution, which is the native resolution for 15" LCDs, and the best resolution for crisp text. It is rather small for an old fart like me.

Can you change your resolution to 800 x 600? Text will not be as clear, but at least you'll be able to see it better.

Did you try taking it back? My wife can take anything back and is just pleasently persistent enough to overcome their "policy" objections most of the time.

Try playing with the resolution settings. I wouldn't give up on such a good priced LCD. osprey4-that's funny! Good advice though. Be patient and polite if/when you take it back but be insistent and firm. If you are told that they will not take it back, keep going up the ladder to each employees superior. May have to write a letter to a regional manager or higher. Wal-Mart generally tries to keep people happy in my experience. Just inform them of how deeply disappointed you are in the quality of the product and then post a reseller rating here.

The native resolution of the KDS-5 (which is its best-quality display; other resolutions are interpolations) produces a very small text size. My wife's is set at 800X600, and the text is a little ragged, but still pretty good. You can't expect to read text at 1024X768 on a 15" screen unless your eyes are a lot younger than mine and Marcia's.
