like osper4 said if you are persistent enough and explain the situation to them you may be able to return it.

Some good old fashioned yelling usually helps also

Hi being an ex walmart mgr. I would suggest you have your reciept and be polite and you will get a lot further and more help from them. The return policy is 15 days on computer hardware and components, But usually if you have a problem returning it ask to speak with a member of management to get the problem resolved. The main reason people ever get problems is because they tend to think if they make a scene or get Irate that they will get what they want but if you explain the problem in a calm matter and are close to the 15 day policy they will take care of you. Just a suggestion being that I have been the manager trying to help the customer.

Thank you guys!
I will try to return it to Walmart, and get a 17'' LCD at 1024*768.
The font would be large enough...

Yeah and cunokyle gives good advice, you can always change the font size in you apps to aide your sight.

My ex used to work at Walwart in college and you wouldn't belive what you could take back. It's disgusting really. Once a lady brought back an EMPTY PS2 box (yeah when they were ridiculously scarce) and argued that the box was empty when she took it home and opened it. Needless to say she walked out the door with another PS2. It's a good thing most people aren't like that lady, else I'd have to change occupations and work in poison control

Jim:
(Guys correct me here if I'm wrong here), but by going to a 17" LCD bumps the native resolution to 1280 x 1024, doesn't it?

Jim will not necessarily gain anything, except a larger viewing area, by going to 17" over 15". Is this right? Are am I wrong in my reasoning? Thanks.
