Does newegg do shipping insurance? I'm going to over about $1500 in parts from them, and if they do how much does it cost, if not how do i get it?

I'm not sure they have shipping insurance, but they are extremely good with costumer support, and if something is damaged I'm sure they will replace it. My cousin burnt out like 2cpus and a few mobos and some other odds and ends and they replaced it all even though it was his fault.

I wouldn't worry to much.. I order thousand of dollars worth of parts from them and 99.9% of the time they arrive in perfect condition. Any problems I have had with them I just get the RMA number send it back and they send me a new part no questions asked. They are very cool abou their return policy. Also fedex is how they ship and FedEx has a very good product handling rate. So I don't think it is really worth going crazy to get insurance on the shipment.

Ya, their shipping through FedEx is excellent! Even the Express Saver gets from California to Michigan two days faster than UPS ground does and it doesn't cost any more. Most times it costs nothing in fact. Although if you're ordering that much I would suspect there's probably a monitor and case in there and they still charge for those.

I ordered almost $1800 worth of stuff from Newegg last year and everything came in great condition. The shipping was a little strange since i received my stuff in 4 packages over a period of 2 days. But that wasn't a big concern.

all in all I've purchase somewhere around $2000-2500 for myself and about $800 for other people from newegg and like everyone says it got very to me safe. After it got to me was another story! I have a tendency to OC, and I feel bad for my hardware sometimes
