Staples receipt/invoice

I'm not sure what to use for receipt/invoice for my Staples rebate for my Maxtor HD. There is only one piece of paper with a price on it that was in the packadge(I got it shipped). And it says on it in big red letters "NOT AN INVOICE."

Do I print out the email I got as confirmation of my order? I emailed them a few days ago, but no response and this needs to be mailed very soon.

Is there a price on the "NOT AN INVOICE"? Or is it just a packing slip?

Really, an invoice is just a bill, so you've already paid, you're not going to get an invoice. As long as there's a price, that's all they need. Did you print the order confirmation showing the price (and shipping, etc.)? That will also do.

For Staples, I've always sent in a copy of that packing slip, and that has worked. If I can print out an invoice or receipt on-line, I'll include a copy of that as well, just to cover all the bases. . .

I just got an email back from them and that "NOT AN INVOICE" slip is ok to use. But I already send my rebate in using that checkout page I printed out showing the completed order.

In the business world, an invoice means "Pay this Bill" which in Staples case you've already done that, so it is merely a copy of the transaction.

I usally send a copy of both.
Staples is one of the better places to do rebates.
Did you send them a copy of the check-out page or a copy of the e-mailed to you receipt?

Print out the order confirmation too. Best Buy has a better system where you can print out the invoice/bill on line after the order ships.

But I have also used the shipping paper with the red writing and it works.

But last week I got a scanner with no papers. They shipped it in the product box itself which had handles. So I called them up and she's send me the invoice/bill for the rebate. You might want to do the same.
