Last summer I researched some graphics cards and I found that the prices on PCI cards were $10 extra for bottom level cards and up to $50 extra for mid level PCI cards, just because of the PCI being less popular. My $0.02 - might that $50 extra be better used in buying an AGP capable mobo? Todays AGP mobos are AGP 4 x and even 8x, while PCI is something AGP 1/2x, IIRC. I do not find any PCI cards which match your 64 Meg request.

Let's assume his mobo doesn't have AGP. For games, the only cards that are available in PCI format that are halfway decent would be ones like these two from Newegg (a ATI 7500LE and a Geforce 4 MX440).

This one, the ATI, is $77:

This one, the Geforce, is $80:

http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduc...MX440+64MB+PCI

(There is also a MX440 SE listed above for $69, but I believe this card is not as good as the straight MX440, plus a different not in stock MX440 for $78.)

There are PCI Radeon 9000 from Hercules (better performance, full size card w/ fan) and PowerColor (low profile, fanless, cooler, and slower)

Why not assume that thePh@r@oh's motherboard does have an AGP slot, but it's already taken up by a card and wants to go multi-monitor?

That's the reason I went n' got myself two 64Meg PCI Radeons. My AGP slot was already in use by a 64Meg Radeon DDR VIVO

Gotta love a 4800x1200 desktop

this is true im tring to build a pc for a friend and he needs a MATX mobo we hhave to put it in an AT case so MATX is all that we can figure out will fit. if anyone has any suggestions in cpu & mobo bundles with AGP let me know and i'll take a look at it.
