What kinda processor?

If it's just a lil system, the Soyo 5EHM ain't a bad board (Pretty cheap, AT board). Takes up to a K6-2-500, has an AGP slot. I had one of those running for about 4 years (started as a K6-233, ended up as a K6-2-450), until I went up to an Athlon 1Ghz. I sold the K6-2 machine to a friend a coupla years ago and he's still using it today.

I'd rather get a new case for that exact same reason. Each to their own I guess.

Cases are so cheap...unless he gets distracted by the fancy ones.

Ph@ro@h, how are you going to fit an MATX mobo in an AT case? Without some serious case modding, it won't fit.

I'd just pick up a 30buck case from www.compgeeks.com and then you can use whatever mobo/cpu you want, IMO that's the way to go

30 bucks is the difference between 256mb RAM 512. save money by using a case that he has can mean a better machine. plus im not lazy not gonna chicken out on this mod. Its something different.
