Kids what is a GOOD 19"or larger CRT ?

I need a GOOD 19" or larger CRT monitor.
Cheap would be nice, but probably not achievable.
So many to choose from, so what do you have & would you recommend it?
Thanks!

Best Buy has Viewsonic A90f+ Perfect Flat Screen CRTs for $229 after MIR. Nice monitors at a great price. Office Depot also has them or a few bucks less, but they don't have them in stock, and the rebate ends in the beginning of February.

I just bought one so I can go dual-screen at home. Can't wait.

Are you concerned with refresh rates?

Edit: Actually, the refresh rates on the monitor listed in the post above aren't too bad.

I use a samsung 950P, (can't stand flat screens they always look caved in) but I only buy Samsung monitors now.

Misc

I bought a 20" Dell UltraScan 20TX(TD) Monitor (D2026T-HS) for $400US three+ years ago; at that time they were going for about $1800US new. Never had any problems with it at all.

WalMart keeps a few 19" KDS in stock. About 200$

You may find two 17" monitors (each on own card) to be a better fit.

Win98 upwards does the trick. A PCI can coexist with an AGP, usually. Dell, or HP, no problem. If you aren't dealing with onboard adapter, it's easier.

I have plugged in two old PCI Millenium 4mb cards with good results.

There are "DualHead" cards, but my experience is they are expecting a specific O.S., and if you don't have it, there can be problems.

Steve,
I have a Radeon dual head card on my own system. The new 19" is for the wife, who doesn't like a dual monitor display. I'll take her 17" & set it next to my other one.
Thanks
