I know some people have had some bad luck with Best Buy but I thought I would share my good luck tale...
Sent the wife out to buy a PS2 and the WD 60 gig drive that's on sale this week ($60 AR). She discovered that they were out of stock (big shock) but the sales guy said that he would check to see if the warehouse had one and if they did, they would ship it to us at no cost.
While waiting (with the two kids in tow), a manager walked up and asked if he could help. She explained her plight and he offered to sell her a WD 80 gig drive for $60!
So, I got a bigger drive for the price after rebate (and I don't have to fool with the rebate)!
that my friend is good luck indeed.. =) It may be due to how bad retailers did during christmas.. they are willing to give good deals to get the sales before the year ends.. your fortune.. =)
it's also very cool that your wife is willing to run on such an errand to pick up a ps2 & hd for you. women will shop for clothes & shoes at the drop of a hat, but buying tech stuff for their hubbies...well, those are in the *minority*.
show her some extra appreciation...she sounds like a jewel.

They would probably tell me to go to h**l. The best buy around me is mean so i stoped going there
